turn the set screw on the back of the trigger so you can not pull it. you probable are just now finding it as you were doing a serious test.
Ok im lost
i jsut did a rebarrel on a LA 110 and the saftey is not working.
you can still pull the trigger and get a click when its in the safe position.
i did nothing to the trigger area of the action all i did was remove the barrel and put a new one on.

the one on my 7mag i just got was doing the same thing i noticed that when it was on safe as i tried to pll the trigger the safety would ride up off the frame before it went click. since it was broke (at the tang) i replaced it and the new one did the same thing found a allenscrew in the center of the safety and turned it just till it made contact with the frame .reset the other screws on the trigger checked for function works like a charm now.
thanks ill do that when i get home
