Staggered feed.

I just have to vent, I bought another Stevens 200 SF rifle the other day, and I like them so much better than the CF models. I wish they never changed them. So much so that I sold all my CF Savages. I'm going to replace them with the SF versions. Anyone else feel the same? Or am I the exception.

I agree. I am generally a long action kind of guy and when buying, I try to find stagger feed guns. By swede build is a recent Stevens but I plan to add CDI bottom metal to it. The only one I have that will remain factory savage CF is my 223 VLP. I much prefer the way a stagger feed loads.

I have both in the 5 savages I own, but do like the SF MUCH better.
