    model 24 30-30 over 12 ga sights

I need to put a peep sight and a brighter more visible front sight on this rifle. I'm sure someone has done this before. I just can't see the sights that are on it good enough. Any help is appreciated. Luckus

Williams and Lyman used to make receiver sights for them. Don't know if they still do. You have to drill and tap holes for them.

Williams makes some barrel mounted peeps that fit using existing screw holes - midway and brownells carry them.

    The front is dovetailed in?

I went to the local gunshop and he had a peep sight for a TC that fit the back two holes on the bridge perfectly. It is windage and elevation adjustable, even the screw sizes were right. It may be too high but can fix that with a higher front sight. (it's dovetailed) The small green fibre optic is what I would install.
