Has Savage ever made a 30-06 with a 24" barrel?

I wanted a .243 Winchester with a 24" barrel, and the Savage custom shop did that for me. It takes a little time, but I got what I wanted and am very happy with it.

i had an older pre-accutrigger 116 with a 24" sporter barrel in a 30-06. Dont know if it was special ordered or anything(pretty sure it wasnt), but it was a factory savage barrel. Dont know the year of manufacturer either, and dont own it anymore.

Here it is in a duramax stock:

I have been keeping an eye on the classifieds, and I think only one has come across as a complete gun - and that was a custom request.

There's a gun shop in my area that has a stagger feed BVSS in 30-06 with a 26 inch barrel, the shop owner said he had sold it new and took it on trade.
