    300WSM bullet seating depth

Just bought a used 300WSM and it seems the throat is very short on mine. This is what a 155 Berger seated just off the lands looks like. The other one is a backwards 150 Hornady insterted partway in a case and allowed to slip as the round is chambered. Because of the short action, is this a normal throat ?

    Thanks!
