Savage 12 VLP 223 barrel on my Edge/Axis action ?

Hi all

I was offered a Savage VLP barrel, in 223 with a 1:7 twist. From what I read I'll be able to bolt it on my edge/Axis action, but I'd like to confirm with you all.

He wants 175$ for it, which is a good deal up here in Canada. He shot around 300 with it.

So, please tell me this will bolt to my action ?
