    3006-308 mag box

Is there a way to convert the 30/06 stagger feed mag box to feed 308?
    Thanks
    Bob

Mine feeds them just fine with no modifications or adjustment.

Have you tried feeding 308 from your 06 box?

Many members report great feeding of Short Rounds from Long Boxes with out any modification.

Looks like there is hope then. The rounds seem to release from the lips to soon. It's not been a problem because I mostly load one round at a time but would like to have it as a repeater if possiable.

If you work the action like you're hunting, I bet the cartridge slides right where it's supposed to.

    +1, I've converted a 270 to 308 and it feeds fine.
