    working up loads for new barrels pics of groups


    barrels are a mcgowen 26" 223 1-8 twist and a shilen match 30" 308 1-10 twist
    went to the range saturday alittle windy coming from behind but heres some of the 69gr groups





    all done at 300yrds not to bad the pulled ones are me getting use to the 8 oz trigger
    and here are a few of my 308 shilen i'm also working on

    100 yrd 10 rnds

    Looks great, that is a very impressive 100 yard group.

    yeah i probably could have put the whole box thru the same hole i've done it with the old 223 barrel that now sits in the safe until i decide what to do with it . i think i'm going to stick with that 308 load and play around with the 223 to get it ready for next year f-class shooting at the club .

    man, that 10 shots at 100yds is impressive! Not only does the gun have to shoot to do that, but so does the shooter! thats nice
