    220 Swift Done!!!

I'm pretty happy with how she turned out. And looks like she will shoot alright too.
Weighs in at 9lbs. 15oz. as pictured
    Very comfortable on the bags.
Gonna have to go a different route with the rings. They don't allow me to adjust the scope far enough back.
I have only shot about 20-25 rounds out of her so far but it looks like I'm going to be happy with how it shoots.

    Savage 110 Long Action

Tactical Bolt Handle by Sharp Shooter Supply
Stockade Hunting Sporter Stock, OD Green with black webbing

Very nice setup! I hope to send my rig off to get cerakoted after the deer season.

One sharp setup. An EGW base/ new rings will allow the scope to be moved back for proper eye relief.

Don't do that too me. Very nice and just when I happen to have a spare 110 doner rifle laying around.

Did you do the cerakote yourself? +1 on the EGW rail

Nice looking rifle. The big question was answered by the last picture. Yes, it can shoot!

Yes I did the cerakote. I had a buddy with a little steadier hand than mine paint the fluting on the bolt.
I have a Ken Farrall 0 MOA base. I was just trying to cut down on a little weight using the Talley lightweight rings. But that's gonna have to change pretty soon.

Thanks to all for the comments. I'm pretty happy with it. I did a little shooting tonight and I was very impressed. The Stockade stock sure is steady on the bags, even for being a hunting sporter stock.

Ya know with all that attention to detail, I would think you would have at least put the bolt on the correct side of the rifle ,
Outstanding looking rifle, and I agree, looks like it will be a shooter.

    What's the intended target?

Haha. I may have had a hard time operating it with the bolt on the other side.
It will mainly be used for coyote hunting. But will get plenty of time punching paper & a little steel target practice out to 500. I will also use it to do a little prairie dog hunting.

I keep coming back and looking at the paint on the bolt, its amazing! Did you spray on the tan and then brush in the black? I cant wrap my head around how you did that? Also how did you paint the barrel with the flutes different colors?

Wow, I never thought I'd see the day...

A rifle on this forum in 220 Swift, that HAMMER doesn't own!

That's a nice looking rig. I was just curious why the 12" twist? What bullet are you planning on using? Same one for each 'yotes and pdogs?

    Just wondering "out loud".

Yes that is exactly how the bolt was done. I sprayed the barrel black, cured it, and then taped off the flutes and sprayed them brown.
