    Stevens 200

I just bought myself an early Christmas present, a Stevens 200 in 30-06. New old stock, 05 model, staggered feed. Nice polished deep bluing. I mounted the scope, bore sighted it, and it's darn near perfectly lined up with no correction. My .223 Stevens needed 30 inches of widage correction, so I was very happy with my new one. I do have to call Savage tommorow though, they put the wrong bolt handle on it. It has the flat back style on a round action. But that's not a big deal.

The flat top bolt was used in those models in transition to the round top to use up existing bolts.

I'm aware of that, I just want the right one.

I think I have one left over from my 200 I built. I'll look in the morning I'm at work now, but if you want it, it's your's.

Yep, found it. It's not polished blue, more of a matte blue, but is in very good shape. PM me your address and it is yours, just pay it forward.
Here is a pic of it with the SSS tactical handle that went in it's place so you can get an idea about the finish.
