    Savage model 11 Lightweight Hunter

Hello, John Kirkland here. I just bought a savage model 11 lightweight hunter in 260 remington cal. Pulled it from the box, and liked the looks and light weight! Not a grade AAA stock, but a nice looking piece of wood. As allways, the 1st thing i do is pull the barreled action and bed the stock. Seems the back recoil lug bolt is under the lil bolt release slider button, located at the front of the trigger gaurd.Mybe im having a bad day, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get to the lug bolt? Anyone have a clue as to how to accomplish this? Thanx.

Open the bolt. Pull the trigger back and the plastic bolt release on the front of the trigger will slide back to reveal the rear action bolt.
