    Savage Manufacturing help

Is Savage 100% built in the USA?

Buddy of mine in involved in a local gun raffle and this year there goal is to have 110% of the guns and prizes made in America. From what he has found some of the guns come from Canada.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Some of the rimfires are or have been made in Canada. It's stamped on the barrel.

The Savage 10/110 (Stevens 200 ) line is made in the USA, except for the laminate wood stocks which are made in Italy, the platsic stocks are made in the USA. As mentioned the rimfires (93R, MKII, ETC) are made in Canada. Anymore it is hard to find anything made intirly in the USA, even in guns.

... Are you sure about the laminate coming from Italy? I would bet they come from Rutland Plywood Corp. USA.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
