looking to rebarrel my 116 300 rum.

so what is your thoughts on length 28" 30". twist rate 1-10"? this will still be my go to hunting gun but love the long shooting. I reload and use 210 bergers. if it was yours what would you get.

Are you only asking about length? Is that with or without a muzzle brake? Longer is better, but are you willing to carry it? What contour will you get?

10" twist will stabilize anything going through a RUM.

My factory 7mm RUM LSS has a 26" barrel and an extra 2" of brake on top. I don't find it too long at all and I would choose 28" to 30" of 'finished' length if it was me. I'll bet that's a fun rifle I like 300 RUM too but don't have one...
