Just found a 23D ANNB !

Back 30 years ago, when I lived in the frozen North, I was a big collector of all the 1919s, 1922s, 23s, and 19s. had over 50 @ one time, even a factory EX. 44-40 23.
Moved on to 03s and sold all the Savages. Just ran across an minty 23D first model (uncheckered) with the factory D&T for side mount, and, Lord be praised, a 7/8" factory optional side mount with a Texan and a 6X Litcherts Varmint Master convertor. It called my name and now it's mine. The scope will go as I have a flat new All Weather Alaskan with the "floating dot" and a NIB Litcherts 8x convertor. Should put a major hurt on those pesky gophers ! ;D
