    Safe to dry fire?

I have a new Model 11 243 and am wondering if it is a bad practice to dry fire the rifle? It seems like it would be tough to adjust the Accutrigger with live rounds.
    Thank you

Yes - dry fire all you want. Just double check for an empty chamber before starting!

Also good practice to store your firearm uncocked or dryfired. Had a rem 700 one time have the pin hang up when shooting at a fox, had to work the bolt real quick and fire again. ; Got him that time. Bill
