    24V, .222/20ga.


    Just bought what I think is a 24V model 222/20ga. to replace the 22mag/20ga. that I wished I'd had not sold many years ago.
    Problem is that when I attempted to remove the stock, the head on the stock bolt looks more like a buffalo nickle than the head of a bolt.
    Anyone ever encounter such a thing? :-\

    I didn't realize this post is so old before responding to it but it should be a screw with a washer behind it. Maybe someone messed it up by using the wrong sized flat head screw driver ? The screw head is domed, easy to do if your not careful.
