I like what you are shooting.
The 1:12 should shoot 40's to 60's well.
I shoot a lot of 40 grain V-Max and Nosler BT's.

I have a model 12 FVSS in a 22-250 that I'm working up some loads for. Currently I have Hornady 55 gr V-max and Sierra 55 gr game kings, #1365, loading them on top of Varget. I'm going to pick up some Ramshot Game King today, if I can find it.
What bullet, weight/brand and powder, charge weight and brand combinations have worked best in your 1-12 twist 22-250? I will be shooting paper, coyotes and some 400 yard steel if I can get all this figured out.
Thanks

Mine shoots great with nosler 40g ballistic tips and IMR 4064 in my factory barrel with a 1:12
Silence is golden.... duct tape is silver!!
50g Nosler w/R-15
60g Sierra HP w/IMR 3031
52g Sierra MK w/H-4895
CCI benchrest primers with the 50 and 52's. Fed 210's with the 60g
65 gr Sierra with a near max load of TAC. The bullet box says for 1-10" or faster but the Sierra tech said it would work. And it sure does.

38.5g Varget under 40g Vmax at 4050fps. Laser to 300yds.
Those are my favorite two bullets in mine. Over 34-35grs of Varget it is a great combo. I have been running RL15 in mine as well and the last batch went over pressure with a start charge, questioned loose primer pockets among other things and loaded more in fresh brass and same thing, so I am going to stick with the Varget from now on I think.

40 and 50 gr v-maxes over H-380, mine doesnt care for varget much.

I'll have to add a +1 to laportecharlie
Almost forgot about the 65g Sierra and I've got a box sitting right here! :P I haven't played with them enough to give you a powder recommendation but just use the data for the 63g Sierra.
my model 12 likes 55 gr vmax with 34 gr RL15. Shoots one very small ragged hole at one hundred. Bill
I've got a Ruger No.1-V with 1:14 twist and I like the 52gr A-Max.
Been using H380, but will likely be switching to Varget.
Thanks guys, it appears these 1-12 twist guns wil shoot a variety of bullet weights well.
50 gr V-Max over RE15 gives me the smallest groups, mostly one hole at 100 yds, but the same bullet over Varget is also good for a one hole 5 shot group sometimes. Bullet seated .020 off of the lands is the sweet spot for my rifle. 60 gr V-Max shoots sub MOA with the same powders. 12FV with Duramax stock and 6x18x50 Bushnell scope. I tried a lot of different bullet/powder combinations, finally got her shooting great. It was a lot of fun. :)
1).60 Grain V-Max over 32.8 Varget. WLR primer slow but accurate, I use this for my P-Dog load in summer. Nothing hits harder on a P-dog
it literally peels the hide off them before they hit the ground.
2). 53Grain V-Max over 4064, CCI BR primer
3). 52 Match over 8208XBR CCI BR Primer
