I am having good luck with the same load- 39gr. Big Game/55 gr. NBT and the same charge with a bulk Hornady 55 grain sp.
Have been shooting ramshot big game in my 22/250 for a year now and I think I can say it loves this powder.
Speeds are a little slower then ramshots load data but not way low. 25*f temps run 3600 vs a listed 3695 with a 55nbt. Carefully prepped win brass or lapua brass, cci, wlr, wlrm primers all shoot well with it. 55nbt, 55sbk, 52smk all shoot great.
12fv 22/250 b&c medalist stock, vortex viper pst 6-24ffp.
Shot off a bipod and rear sandbag. Gloved hands in 25*f snowing weather. Great day at the range, planets must of been aligned! All groups @ 100yds.
Group shot a year ago with 6-18 nikon.

Gonna have to tape a couple of these up on the reload bench.

None of the local sporting good stores here have it, I looked today.

Dunno if this helps but here's a couple that carry it. I wish hodgdon made another extreme series powder between h4895 and h4350 other than varget.
My top 4 powders I've tried for accuracy would be as listed
Ramshot Big Game
W760
Rl15
H380
I would rather shoot extruded for their temp resistance but haven't found a great one yet besides rl15. Which is really dirty and kinda slow, though very accurate, runs close to my big game loads for accuracy. Alliant lists a really high max of 37 something grains while most books list 35.5 with a 55 grain.
I'm going to give rl17 some more testing with 55's and 64 grainers. Check out the following link. It is generally recommended to follow imr4350 data, so I worked up to 40.0 grains RL17 and 64 grain Berger, clocked 3500fps. No accuracy tests yet though, the day I shot started to blow steady 35mph.

Good luck, keep shootin
Just some more insight. H380 group was @300yds. RL15 @ 100yds is actually my best group to date, yes that's 5.

where at in west Ky? I live in west ky and I can get it.
I live near Paducah, Shooters Supply, Dunns and Gander Mountain didn't have it. I talked to Lynn, the owner of Shooters about it, he said he'd never heard of Ramshot powders.Originally Posted by keeki

for the big bullets Superperformance powder works well, and for the 50-55gr Benchmark does a fine job
Ramshot is made by Western Powders Inc, the same ppl own Accurate Arms. Im sure the guy at shooters has heard of them
