Ok I admit it, I'm a member of the North American Hunting Club. Fell for that free product/ product tester bit. Well, I did test a predator call a few years ago. great sound, the aluminum barrel stuck to my lip when it was cold though.
SO Last month they sent me a trigger for my Axis. Cool! The stock trigger works of course, but hey why not?
Instructions said install in 10 minutes...
Maybe, if ...
Instructions also said first pull c clip and pivot pin, then trigger. Install spring on Timney, align hole, reinstall pin and clip. Easy peasy lemon Squeesy.
Adjust sear release so it fires then turn back 1/6th turn and lock with nut.
Adjust Saftey so theres no slop. It fires.
Try it again it fires. ( snap cap incase you are concerned) Re read directions.
Try it again same results.
So I adjusted the saftey first, then the sear release. Viola!
And that trigger is sweet!
Gotta love the geasy cardboard targets.
So if any of you decide to upgrade the trigger to timneys, heres the way I did it so it would work, safely.
