    Superglue on pillars?

Over on Specialty Pistols one of the members mentioned that he superglued the pillars to the action before bedding. This sounds like a good answer to the problem of holding the rear pillar on a savage in position during the process of bedding. I'm curious about how easy it is to separate the action from the bedding after curing (superglued to the pillar). Has anyone here ever tried the superglue trick?

    Re: Superglue on pillars?

I think I may be confused...
Are you ADDING pillers, AND bedding? Otherwise the pillar should be IN the stock already...
On face-value, I wouldn't do it. Enough force to break the superglue, will probably crack some of the bedding.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
