bushnell 6-24 4200 elite mildot scope?

I know some of you have this scope, the bushnell 6-24 4200 elite mildot. Is it a good scope? Any complaints?

    I have had mine for about 4 yrs. it's a 6 X 24 X 40. have it on my Ruger #1, 223.

    For the money, in my opinion, I think the Elite's are great scope's. I have not had any problems with the elite series. have a 3 X 9, 6 X 24, & 8 X 32. had a 4 X 16 before I bought the 8 X 32.

it probably like any thing else, there are some that may be better, a lot that are worst, but the Elites I have are very clear, & track well.

    My 6 X 24 , mils at 12 power.

I made a little cheat sheet that shows at 12, & 24 power, with the 50 gr. V-Max where it will shoot at 100, 200 & 300 yds. the range is 300 yds.

    I have a 8 X 32 X 40 back at Bushnell for a mil dot installation, for my VLP, that I use in the 223, 22-250, & Rem 6mm. expect to get it back next month, & do a cheat sheet for 50 V-Max, & 75 gr. A-Max for the 223/22-250, & 75 gr. V-Max, & 105 A-Max for the 6mm.

    I'm pleased.

I am a member of direct buy due to building a house and they carry bushnell and I can get one at a good price. I can't say how much due to the contract but I think it makes scope look even better.

Are you talking about the side focus model or the AO model?

I have had 2 of the 6-24 AO models and they are very good scopes. They have very clear and bright glass, and track very well. The only downfall to them is they only have 26moa of elevation adjustment, but thats only a problem if you are shooting past 700 yards or so. The only reason I sold mine is because I can get a good deal on Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50's from my local dealer, and feel it is a much better scope for the price.

I absolutely agree. The glass is VERY good for the money, I have one I took off a 12FVSS and replaced with a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 SF. For me the difference in glass quality was unnoticeable at my club's 200 yard range (in very bright noon-time conditions). The Conquest has a bigger eyebox which makes it easier (for my fat behind) to shoot prone, and the SF is more convenient than the AO. I'm keeping the Elite for a walking varminter project, way too good to let go.

I also have two other 2.5-10x50 Elite 4200's, they're great glass for the money as well.

I have one mounted on a .308 I built up. I have 500 rounds through it and I shoot from 300 - 600yds. As others have already said it tracks great, very positive clicks and very good glass. i almost always shoot at 12X. The only down fall is a limited amount of internal adjustment.

I've got the 6x24x50 tactical, and i really like it. Very good for what i gave for it. It could use more adjustment range, but with a 20 moa base it will get you to 1000 yds.(Farther with a flat shooting caliber). With my 6.5x55, it still has approximately 18 minutes left at 1150 yds. with a 20 moa base.

+1 For the 6-24x50 Tactical Great glass, good low light visibility, and excellent tracking. Perfect box out to 15 moa. Only thing is I like smaller Dots, and could use more adjustment. Good luck.
