    10FP rebarrel- Thanks Jim!

Jim Briggs sold me a new Shilen Select Match barrel in .308, and it prooves to be a shooter! I ruled Shilen out in my barrel search when this barrel listed for $450 on their site, but looks like Jim had a way better price on it!! After a quick sight in today, I shot 3rds into a .380" group at 100yrds. This was using reloads for the original 20" barrel... 44gr Varget, 168SMKs, Fed brass, CCI200s, 2.805" More holes in more targets to come, load development on the way! Heres some pics of the build up. 300yrd range report to follow 8)

    Thanks!
Wheeler..... if it had a notch for the recoil lug button, it would be better, but it gave me no issues. Used my BD discount for it and the barrel nut wrench.

Thats the same thing my Stepdad said after I shot it.... You never know, it may be the best combo that I lucked into, but I gotta do a work up with Varget still, or I wouldn't be able to sleep at night ;D The throat is .012" deeper than the factory barrel, so I may play with OAL a bit.
