    Barrel contours and Accustock compatibility

I'm thinking of swapping the factory sporter contour barrel on my 116 FCSS Weather Warrior (with Accustock) with a varmint contour barrel. Does the factory Accustock on the 116 FCSS fit around a varmint contour barrel, or will I have to get a stock with more space for the larger barrel contour?

This may be the last question I ask before jumping in on the .264 cal 26" stainless varmint contour barrel group buy.

    Thanks!

Not positive, but would be surprised if the accu-stock isn't just the old stock with a skeleton in it.
IF that is the case, you will need to get your rasp out, and do a bit O work.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

Looking at my Model 16 Accustock and at another M16 with a Varmint weight barrel in a wood stock, I'm sure you are going to have to rasp out the barrel channel in the Accustock. There seems to be enough wall thickness along the barrel channel to let you do it without it looking odd if you are careful.
