    Ballistic Software

Is anyone using a Ballistic Software program? If so do you like and is it worth it?

    Thanks Ted

    Re: Ballistic Software

I have been using Silhouette Ballistics for several years. From my experience the program will give good elevation numbers if the range is known and accurate input data is used. After that is adjustment for changing winds. Every year I go through my prairie dogs guns and update the data for each one. It is a warm fuzzy when the range finder says 653 yards, the calculated clicks for 650 are dialed in and then a pdog does a high jump. Below is basically what I use out of the program. There is a lot than can go into it if a person feels a need. The cost and the free updates are worth it to me.
