    110 ejector problem

My savage 110E 30:06 just barely will eject a spent case. Seems like it should kick em out much better than it does. This rifle is approx. 1986 DOM. You can push the ejector down against the spring. The spring seems to have plenty of tension. Not sure what is causing this rifle not to eject a loaded round or a spent case with ease. Would like to hear some advice on this subject. Hub

Makes sense. I,ll replace mine. Keeki is there anything special I should know regarding spring replace ? Is it a simple disassemby/ reassembly. I replaced the bolt head retaining pin one time and that was real simple. Since you already did the job I thought I would pick your brain a little. Thanks Hub

nah, just punch the little retaining pin out and pull the ejector out. you may have to dig that spring out of there
