    Ejector Install

I just attempted to install an ejector into my new bolt head. I got the spring and ejector in easy enough, then the cross pin wouldnt go. It seems there are some cross hatch marks that make the pin a little wider on one end. I ordered two pins, both are like this.

    What gives?

    Re: Ejector Install

Just went thru the same exercise. I figured the knurled ends are there to hold in the pin when there is no tension applied ie running in the middle of the relief cut in the ejector. Also figured the small semi circular cut on the bottom of the bolt head allows you to gently tap the pin in tight with a brass punch or whatever.
