Hello,I'm new to the forum and was hoping I could find out something on a Savage .22 pump rifle that is clip fed. I think it's a model 1903 but not sure of the grade. There seems to be limited information on the www. and the Blue Book. It is a clip fed pump with a 24 in. octagon barrel marked 22s. L. & LR. also Manufactured By Savage Arms Co. Utica New York U.S.A. PAT-DEC.25.1906. The pistol grip stock looks like burl walnut wood with checkered pistol grip and flat butt stock with hard rubber Savage Arms Co. logo butt plate. Both sides of the receiver are engraved with an Irish Setter on one side and a Lab on the other side. It has a Marbles type flip tang peep sight with no markings I can find. Fixed rear sight that has a small elevation adjustment screw, not a leaf sight. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I would post pictures but I don't see an option to do it. Serial # 100xxx. Thank you D. Ricks
