    Flat rear and accutrigger?

I always thought the flat rear action was ended before the accutrigger came out. Looking at a heavy barrel 111 in .25-06.

So why does this flat rear have an Accutrigger?

I believe it is possible to install one, but there has to be some fitting done. Not sure what needs to be done and why, but I have read that before either here or elsewhere.

They did put out a few flat backs with the accutrigger, kind of a transition. As a matter of fact, the first ad for the accutrigger featured a receiver with a flat top rear. Not many people caught it. This was the same time period when they changed the firing pins to the small version, early 2003.
