Savage 12 bolt face change

Hi guys

I am looking at a custom build which would need a Savage 12 system with a .532 bolt face. Northlander has one with a .378 Bolt Face, which I am ogling. How much hassle would it be to change the bolt face (for a qualified gunsmith). And where would I get the part?

no gunsmith needed. u could do it in a few min.

ide be more worried about if its controlled round feed cuz those receivers are a little diff then regular push feed ones and need a little more to be done to them to make them push feed for the reg caliber head sizes. but the good part is u can do it all urself. love them savages!

either from SSS or from midway. the owner of SSS is a member on here under the name sharpshooter. hes a wealth of knowledge about savages!

google either SSS orr sharpshooter supply and u will find their website. they are kind of hard to get a hold of on the phone cuz they are so busy. i like to email them and let lisa know what im needing and she calls me back to get my billing info when she has a free second.
