u can have SSS inlet one for u and u know it will be done correctly. but the downside is u will prob have a 4 week wait for the work cuz the line is that long! $50 if i remember correctly.

Hi all,
I am looking to replace the plastic stock on my model 11 .308 DBM. There seems to be slim pickings for stocks that fit the new 4.475" screwing spacing with the DBM, a few more for the blind mags at least.
I was looking for a Hogue but getting them in Canada is not easy (export legislation issues for rifle stocks form US-Canada according to the agent here).
So... does anyoen know what my options are? Wood, laminate or synthetic.
I am thinking of perhaps just getting a Boyds and cutting the inlet for the DBM (but I suck at wood working!). Would one need the longer action screws in that case for the boyds?
Thanks
