New Axis In 223

Hi all, well I thought I would show off my new Axis .223. With all the great reviews I read and as it will be my hunting rig I didn't feel like paying out heaps of cash for a rifle that could get damaged when out in the bush. I ended up opting for the Axis Stainless XP my only complaint was the trigger but that was soon fixed by a RifleBasix install (wife bought it for me) After the first range test I replaced the scope with a Nikon M223 4-12x42 BDC scope, and what a difference that made. The 5 shot group is only at 50 meters with Remington, Jacketed Hollow Point, 45 GR, 3600 fps bulk ammo but I be headding out to longer distance soon. By the way in Australia we pay $595.00 for this set up, before the Nikon.

Nice setup, I am looking forward to mine. Damn that 10 day waiting period (Cali), I get to pick mine up this Friday. Also nice group as well. More pics when you get further out...
