confused on the model i have.

It's a savage 30-06. The model looks like lll, I've always assumed it was a 111 even though they did not look like the other 1's. Today I saw someone else's 111, and they looked different then mine, they actually looked like 1's. So what do I have? Black synthetic stock, bolt action, with the magazine release on the side of the stock.

I have that exact same gun, my number are like yours (lll) but the newer versions are 111. Just a difference in the stamps that they used to use to make the barrel.

Thanks, have you had much luck with aftermarket accessories. Been trying to find a stock but because the side release I'm not having much luck.

Most aftermarket acc. will work fine on this model with the exception of stocks. I have not found any for the side release model yet. I would think it would be possible to modify one, but I have not tried it yet.
