I don't know, but I'd like one please. I'm not too particular. If it's only blued, not stainless, that would be ok.

    Good question!

No....and you'll probably never see one. When Savage went to the center feed mags, they never intended to do H&H or RUM length mags, there is not enough room in the mag frame for the extended length.

I have a related question for all you smart people out there. From what I read I think the answer is yes, but I'll ask anyway:
Did Savage did make controlled round feed in long actions (able to chamber 458 Win Mag)?
If so, were they Center or stagger feed? DBMs?

In my CF long action it looks like there is enough room in the mag well and opening in the bottom of the receiver that if you cut out a slot in the front of the magazine box for the bullets to stick out of that there would be enough room for it to work. Be advised I haven't tried it yet but been thinking about it b/c it looks like there's enough room. Is that possible Sharpshooter?

By CF, do you mean center feed (magazine) or Controlled Feed (action)?
Just want to make sure I don't misinterpret anything.

My 375 H&H is controlled feed, standing ejector, stagger feed.

By CF I meant center feed. Sorry for the confusion.

BTW - wouldn't want a detach mag in a dangerous game rifle. Just saying...

trogre, does your 375 have dbm, hinged floorplate or blind. My 116 FSS is blind stagger. By the way eric in nc I agree with you got 2 more 375s both have floor plates pinned as one would fall open once in a while with 300 gr full house loads.

True about the detachable mags and hinged plates on the heavy hitters. Most I've seen that have them are either pinned as you said or I've even seen some with tape around the floorplate and bottom of the stock. Taped shut in other words.
