model 14 american classic in .243

was shooting the other day and click... no fire, tried several different rounds

suggestions, before I send it back to Savage. the rifle is about 3 years old
but I seriously doubt there has even been a 100 rounds through it

I'm going to presume this is an accu-trigger. If it is try adjusting the trigger up a little.
Sometimes after a rifle gets broke in it needs it. Even if you never touched the adjustment.

Increase about 1/8 of a turn at a time. It doesn't usually take very much.

Also - don't forget if you don't pull the trigger STRAIGHT back - you get a click but no boom.

Some guys pull a little to the side or push a little - and it doesn't take much - they will not fire this way.

    Just a reminder to check.

worked like a charm the acuu-trigger adjustment spring was completly "back all the way out"
tightened 1/2 turn ang she goes "bang" again.

    Thanks for the advise.....

On a side not the action screws were very loose as well. Torqued those babies back in spec
    again as well.
