    Re: stevens 200

Couple months ago a dealer here had told me that he could not order any more as his supplier had told him they were discontinued. But I was down a couple weeks ago and he had a couple new ones in the rack and said his supplier had 'em available again. So I don't know.

On the Savage Arms website (http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/models/), I no longer see the following models of the Stevens 200:
    Long Action
    SKU 17749: 25-06
    Short Action
    SKU 17747: 7mm-08

The LA and SA Stevens 200's are on the Savage Site, but as "thomae" said, the 25-06 and the 7-08 calibers have been dropped from the Stevens 200 line. At least I didn't see them listed when I clicked on the links "rjsixgun" posted.

    Re: stevens 200

My problem has been finding an available Stevens 200 in one of the magnum calibers at a good price.
(I have a hankerin' to build me a 458, what with squirrels and whistle pigs getting bigger every year!)
