    Barrel Chambering?


    If I get a blank barrel, who do y'all recommend I have chamber and thread for a Savage 110? Trying to avoid SSS, heard too man bad things about them.

    I had good luck with sinman making my 223 into a 223ai

    There are a few shops here locally, I don't trust one after they couldn't do a simple trigger job correctly, another has terrible customer service so I refuse to do business and the last one has a really long wait time.

    I'll probably go with Sinman, just wanted to here what others had to say.

    Well here's a really dumb question: Why not just order your barrel already chambered through your employer? I guarantee you it will be cheaper and you won't have to wait as long for it. Good gunsmiths are getting harder and harder to find, and all of the good ones will have a lengthy wait time.

    Well I really want a Rock Creek and I've found a couple of places that have them in stock

    We are offering 6.5 bore barrels, and I want to build a .243

    Yes, right now we are only offering ER Shaw sporter contours in 6.5mm calibers. It seems like the wait for barrels is long either way, unless you are ordering something off the shelf.

    Let me know what you guys as a group are looking for and I'll see what group deal I can put together.
