    Action question

What is the difference between the LRP Repeater Target Actions and regular target actions? In the pictures they both seem to be single shot. Also which one is better for a target rifle?

    Re: Action question

    Kinda of a tough question!

All I can tell you is I have three of the "Savage Precision Target" actions! All single shot!

I use all of my PTA's for target shooting! I like my dual port the best. Before you buy one, check on the screw spacing. I think they are all standard now, but the dual actions have a shorter spacing, I believe 3.44 compare to 4.44 on the right of left port actions.

I am happy with all of mine, I do fairly well in matchs as well as several of my shooting buddies!

I think the only way to get a repeater is to buy the complete rifle, or get lucky enought to find one for sale! I think some matches require you to have a repeater.

I do not have an endless supply but I do have some of the LRP Chrome Moly Repeater Target Actions - $435.00 + S&H to your FFL.
