220 swift on a long action?

Could I spin a 220 swift barrel on an action from a 30-06? and if I could would it have feeding issues?
    thanks.

    #1 - yes

#2 - Maybe - depends on your mag (centerfeed, stagger feed) and luck of the draw. Puting the rounds in correctly (rim of top cartridge in front of catridge underneath it) helps a lot but some rifles have problems.

I like the setup my old Ruger 77 has for feeding the swift - spring at rear of mag to push rounds forward.

I've done it and it worked fine. The only thing to remember is to stack the rounds in the magazine so that the rims don't catch on each other. The top rim needs to be in front of the one below it, and so on.....
