I think my barrel has a 1:10 twist, but I'm not sure. It's a model 10 FCP with a Choate stock 24 or 26 inch barrel. It shoots 168 gr. triple shocks pretty well (1 moa). However, I want a suppressor on the end. It's not threaded. So I need to know. A) Is 1:10 going to be good enough to make this a 1000 yd. gun? B) If it is, should I just have a gun smith cut it down and thread it as apposed to buying a new barrel. C) What are some good suppressors out there?

I'm going to be using this as my long range gun for yotes during competitions this year and what ever else I see fit to have fun with.

Thanks to all that can help.
