    savage edge 223

has anyone measure the lands on their savage edge 223? i am having a difficult time in doing so getting several measurements. I load some 55grain sierra game kings at 2.352 tonight they chambered with no resistance so they should be fine, right?

Are you using the Hornady OAL gauge? Measurements will vary a bit each time you remeasure a bullet. Take the average of the measurements and use that as your max. Measure your bullets from base to ogive and you will be shocked at the differences in lengths, even with match bullets. Due to this, your OAL measurements will vary.
