    Weight of LRH model

In looking at the specs for LRH, I see that the weight is about 8.5 llbs. while other Savages with the AccuTrigger and AccuStock are much lighter. Does the extra 2 inches of barrel length and the muzzle brake add that much weight?

    Thanks

The 4" extra barrel length plus I believe it is a tad larger barrel contour as well compared to a sporter barrel.. Its not hard to add an extra pound.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think about the contour of the barrel.
