    Savage Bolt Release?

I have a Savage 114 with the bolt release on the trigger. Does this limit me to what stocks and aftermarket recoil lugs I can get?

no....ive talked to boyds and stockys and they both said they inlet to roughly fit 5 diff versions of trigger guards savage currently has. although most will be drop in, some may require minor sanding to get a good fit.

the recoil lug thats gets specific is the one fo an accustock. they have to have parallel sides and a certain depth to clear the railing and not bottom out before the action meets the bottom aluminum lug. SSS sells a nice one that compatable with the accustock that has a locator pin since the factory one doesnt.

non-accustock rifles can use any recoil lug and most after market ones have that locator pin to keep it from twisting.
