Hi all! Mike from Northwest Ohio here, I've been a shooter and competitor since the late '80's but didn't get my first Savage till about 2010. I'm a big fan of the Savage design - 2 piece bolt, barrel nut, just very practical from the standpoint of someone who shoots a lot and likes to swap barrels.
I'm also an instructor with Adaptive Defense Concepts LLC, we offer training in a variety of Firearms, Defense, and Preparedness topics, check us out if you're looking for that kind of thing in this area.
Outside of shooting I'm a Freemason, Homebrewer, and Safety Professional.
