Sad little Savage 1904 rifle

I came across a very beat up little Savage 1904 rifle the other day. Someone has decided to paint over the bluing but I can fix that. The bigger issues is that the bolt it thrashed. The handle is broken off and I think there's bits missing. I'm not even sure how the bolt locks in the ready to fire state. I'll start by welding up the grinding divots in the bolt body and making a new handle. I think I can guess at what other parts need to be built but it might take me a while.

I'm not sure it's even worth playing with but I find it in the back of my dad's gun cabinet so I would like to see it brought back to life. If anyone has a bolt for a Savage 1904 rifle I would certainly be interested. Just to make things a bit tougher, I'm in Canada and I'm not sure bolts are allowed to be shipped over the evil red line on the map.
