Introduction - New Old Savage Owner
Hi. Just purchased my first Savage. An old but very nice CIL950T. One of 250 .308 single shots built by Savage for the Dominion of Canada Rifle Assoc. It will be fun to see how this old thing shoots. What a heavy beast! Really nice, solid action. I’m not a competitive shooter, just like to mess around at the range. I’ve already picked up some really good info on this forum and hope to contribute at some point. I won’t be using the peep sights that this rifle was originally used with so I’m now doing research to figure out what bases I need to mount a scope.
