What bipod do you have for yours? What are pros/cons and would you recommend it? Had my rifle for 2 weeks and this is the first mod.
Also- did you have to mod the stock for the bipod to properly work?
Thanks guys! (And gals)

Have the Harris 6-9 BRMS and it attaches directly to the sling swivel studs no mount needed. In my opinion Harris bipods just work, are relatively inexpensive compared to Atlas for example. Are easy to install, remove and maintain. Good on the bench , for tactical matches or hunting.
I have a couple Shooter's Ridge bipods. They work fine for me. Both attach directly to the sling swivel.
That said, the gun is incredibly unstable on the bipod with the factory stock. Very flimsy, very hard to get a good group out of it. If you want a bipod, then I'd make the Boyd's stock my first modification, rather than the bipod.
Thanks guys
here's a good article on how to stiffen the Axis stock. this is worth doing if you are going to use an bipod!

and I have the Blackhawk swivel bipod that works very well for the money.

I have a cheap NC Star that does pretty good, unless you extend the feet all the way out then it flexes as much as the stock :p
Yep. 6 to 9 Harris does me fine. Rigid option, I don't like rifles rocking around on a swivel base.
You probably need to be a paid member to see it. $15/year, and well worth it!!
Went with a UTG Tactical OP-1 bipod. Little more budget friendly and seems real sturdy.
....how does one post pictures on here?
For what it's worth, I won't ever buy another bipod that doesn't have a pivot top and notched legs. Makes like SO much easier.
I have a caldwell xla pivot bipod . It's a copy of the Harris pivoting bipod I think. My axis does not like bipods, so it is now happily on my RAR..
