Can someone please tell what barrel shank size the 10 BA stealth has Thanks. Looking at a 6.5 creedmore and i already have a 308 small shank barrel hoping to do a barrel swap. We have been looking for a reasonably priced 308 and found a smoking deal on a 6.5 . Thanks

Take a set of calipers, measure what you know is the small shank or just the other, you can easily find the diameters with a Google search.Quote:

The good news is that there are way more aftermarket options for good quality small shank barrels than there are for large shank.

The ones with a large shank were Target action repeaters. They had the shrouded bolt. The small shank versions had the standard 10 action with an un-shrouded bolt.
