I was curious about the Oryx butt pad. Is this a hard rubber pad or is it like a factory Savage butt pad with Limbsaver consistency?

I was curious about the Oryx butt pad. Is this a hard rubber pad or is it like a factory Savage butt pad with Limbsaver consistency?
I don't know what the Limbsaver is like but my Oryx pad is rubber simi soft about 3/4 inch thick.
Little bit of cush, but not much. Just enough so you can get a grip on it, but it won't stop a .300 Win Mag from kicking....although the weight of the chassis will help.
