New member from central California

Hello! I am new to this site. I am looking for information about the 1899 Savage so i can make a great first purchase choice. I think that I want to stay with the 250-3000 or the 300 Savage. I just ordered the David Royal's book about them. Looking forward to making many new friends here! Gary
