Safety interchangability question

Will the safeties from a new Savage fit a new Stevens? providing they are the same action spacing and such.

The reason I ask is I like the safeties on Savages much better than the ones on a Stevens. Outward appearance says "no" but just wanting to see if anyone has tried swapping them out.

No, there is extra machine that goes into the Accu-trigger Savage that the Stevens doesn't get, and the area of the safety is one of them.
